Frequently Asked Questions

Are you covered under insurance?

Yes, I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) through the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Counsellor and therapist are titles used interchangeably, and the BCACC maintains the standards of practice and ethical codes for me to practice in this province. My RCC number is #20665. Learn more about the BCACC and the qualifications required for membership here.

What can I expect from a session with you?

Our first few sessions (in-person or virtual) will be spent getting to know each other, creating a solid foundation built on trust and safety. From there, we will create a treatment plan tailored to your needs. The number and frequency of sessions vary from person to person; we will discover what fits best for you and your schedule.

How do I get to your office and where is the parking?

I work in two offices: 474 West Ave #202 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 175 Ellis St #104 on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Directions to West Ave:

The West Ave office is located above Pandosy Dental Clinic. The entrance is on the right-hand side. Take the stairs up, and there will be a bench in the hall for you to sit, check in, and wait for me to greet you.

Parking Information West Ave:

Parking is free on West Ave after 6:00 pm, and there is free two-hour parking one street over on Osprey Ave all day.

The Ellis office is located on the ground floor of the Ellis Building. You enter through the front doors, and it's the door on your right. Our window faces the street. There is a bench to wait at outside.
